”Roses perfume” is an older painting, I finished it in 21.11.2008, as you can see on its back. It took me a few months to finish it, because I was not happy with what I have created, and I would hide it in a corner until I could get courageous enough to see it! I was not in a very permissive creative stage… hehe. I like gray very much, so I selected metallic gray colors for the background. They change their nuance depending on the ambient light and the angle they are being viewed from. After a month or two, the idea of the black spiral came to me, and after one more month I received the idea of the two red-pink flowers. Of course the minute I created the flowers I didn’t like them, so I ”broke” them right-a-way, and good that I did, because the resulting effect makes me very happy! Displeasure has its unique purpose!! hihi I like the final painting a lot! It took a while to grow inside my heart, but the result is well worth it: perfumed music with the fragrance of roses, love’s scent in a gray world (by a gray world I don’t mean a gloomy, boring world, but a world that doesn’t mean anything until we give it color/meaning!)
