EMERALD MEADOW of the highlands (PRINTS ONLY) This painting was requested by an old friend from a photo. An emerald meadow where ewes and lambs cropped on fragrant grass, and are curious about the visitor at the cist, a nearly four thousand year old tomb in a great pile of stones starting in the foreground of the painting. It’s said that King Kenneth MacAlpin was crowned on a little hill in this valley.
