Updated information: Thanks to Adrian

about this beautiful cactus. Thanks once
again Adrian.

bone cactus (see the leaves that has a
definite zig zag pattern)
I love all the different cactus and this sure is a beauty, wonderfully presented!
Artist Reply: Thank you Ruth! I will upload more and share more about what I know about cacti and particularly the wonderful succulents from Namakwaland, South Africa
Artist Reply: Thank you Emily I am so pleased that I found out at last what this wonderful plant is called. I was asked by (now deceased) friend in the security village where I live to take photos of the plant after he had it for five years before it bloomed for the first time. This is a photo of the first blooms.
Lovely flower Wia, I think it's a Zig Zag Cactus - Cryptocereus anthonyanus (formerly Selenicereus anthonyanus), an epiphytic cactus from Mexico. Hope this helps :)
Artist Reply: Thank you so much Adrian! I have been looking for information about this cactus for about three years now! It was so interesting to read more about it on the Internet and to see hundreds of images when I googled the name. I am really pleased to have the information at last and will add the name to my image ASAP
