very beautiful work with all the colors especially; I would love to photograph a cougar!

Although this painting has been presented in the year 2010, I have just noticed it, not because it is not noticeable, because I had not been logging for very long. I love your style Justin , looking at your work it makes me more confident, simply because when I finish my work I have this fear that some one could comment that I have over done the strokes but some how I cannot stop myself. Just the way you have done the detailing in your total work. Especially the back ground, unlike most artists who revolve on the subject than on the back ground detailing. I am not sure if you would like to answer my question; in how many days were you able to complete this picture?

we used to have a cougar around here in the very rural part of the state where my sister and her husband live,I never saw it but they saw tracks and heard it,this is so wonderfully done, the colors you used really work with this piece and the pastel technique itself is splendid, very well done indeed!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Ruth! I really appreciate hearing such reactions from fellow Artists. It validates what others tell me & makes me feel like my work really does hit the mark I reach so hard for! Please stay tuned for further postings! I'm in the midst of getting ready for a show right now & feel a bit under the gun, but Friday is installation day & I'll be freer to post more after that! I have a Great Horned Owl on the Easel that is nearly done! I posted it on Tips & techniques! It's gonna be my 2011 entry to "Birds In Art in Wausau, Wi !
