Oh, Goddess. Oh, Mother! You have kept me all these years and I have neglected you. Rest now, Goddess Earth, for I shall now keep you. Wow, this was an ordeal. I think I have been working on this for about 2 weeks off and on again. Lately I've been pre-occupied with thoughts of our planet's state of being and how we have treated her over the course of our existence. We haven't exactly been kind to our Life-giving Mother. If don't take care of her now, she won't be able to care for us in the future. It isn't the planet we are killing but ourselves. Nature will correct herself after we are gone and she will go on.
