I wanted to draw one of my proverbial "dream girls" from comics/action flicks and I choose Milla Jovovich as Alice in the 'Resident Evil' films. Milla is one of the most beautiful women in the world I think, and she really kicked major zombie butt in the movies! I used reference on the face--creating more of a caricature than anything else. And a so-so one at that! For the colors and background, I tried to go noirish in keeping with the atmosphere/premise and tried to do something slightly different with her face. I messed around with blues and greens in the face in order to represent the change the t-virus caused in her chemical makeup(second film). I tried to convey that there's something else lying beneath her skin now--something that isn't human.
