Woordelaas from Amsterdam presents:

Bio

dr woordelaas is an indefinably delusional and insignificant creator of the most cringe-inducing art, concocted for each other in his 2nd floor studio in Amsterdam, but valued and closely followed by multiversal knowledge, of which note.

Free Palestine! Unheard Artist Statement – Woordelaas In Unheard, you meet a child — or rather, the image of a child. It looks at you with a quiet directness that disarms and confronts. Wide eyes, innocent features, and yet something lives beneath the surface: a weight that has no name. The gaze is not just a question, but a quiet protest. Who is truly looking back? The face is smooth, almost porcelain-like, nearly timeless. There is no hair, no ornament, nothing to distract. Just pure human presence, unshielded. The background, unmistakably the colors of the Palestinian flag, places this portrait in the heart of a geopolitical tension. The keffiyeh pattern — traditional, weighted — speaks of identity, resistance, and solidarity. The title Unheard refers not only to the inability to speak or be listened to. It is also a silent scream. A protest against the noise of the world stage, where the voices of children, of civilians, of ordinary people are drowned out by ideology, power, and violence. At the same time, the word “unheard” echoes with awe: something striking, overwhelming — unheard beauty, unheard pain, unheard truth. The face is split between light and shadow — a symbolism that remains open. Is it the division of the world? Of the individual? Or of our gaze, which only wants to see half? With this work, I want to bring the viewer to a standstill. Not through spectacle, but through eyes that refuse to let you go. It is not a pamphlet, not an illustration, but an image of humanity housed in a political body. A portrait of the silence that speaks. — Woordelaas - Ah

The guy in the red jacket asks quizzically, "You want to go where in my boat?" The other two just stand there as their feet are frozen to the ice. A very nice piece, Erik, by just about anyone's standard. Hope all is good. :) - Charles

Ah, another of your 3D paper pieces, almost dioramas. The three sheep seem clumsy but maybe they're just exhausted. They were told they'd be relieved hours ago. Very uniquely you, Erik. Hope all is going well. :) - Charles

Seems the central figure is taking a leisurely walk through an Erik-modified landscape. There's a shadow box look and feel. Hope all is good in wondrous Amsterdam. :) - Charles
