Hi all!I hope you all enjoyed following the progress of "The Long Way Home". >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> (Please click on the final image, then scroll down to view the "close up "zoomed" image.)

! I have to mention, that last evening,my daughter,(who is also an artist) and I had the unbelievably serendipitious luck to happen upon a demonstration at a local venue by one of China's National Treasures, Prof.Fang Shu-Jiu. His work is only eclipsed by his amazing story, and his humble and gracious demeanor. It was a once in a lifetime experience, that we will treasure.

This new little picture is something I recently completed, (I will try to take a more centered photo, asap. but wanted to share.) I am now working on a painting of two very young children on horseback. (I will soon begin adding photos of this as it progresses.)

Hi, a quick foot note: To those who wrote, thank you for your great comments!, your work is outstanding, and I am flattered! As an artist, I have done portraits, (currently, I have a portrait being considered for the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery's annual competition.) I now work mostly with oils, and occ; color pencil. I have illustrated childrens' books, and accepted private commissions for real life works. Some of my exhibits include a one woman show at the N.H.Art Gallery, NH, and a portrait which placed at the Canastota Art Gallery. I recently had an exhibit at the Women't Wellness Cntr., Fox Care, Oneonta, NY, and currently have an exhibit in Delhi, at Bassett Physician's. I have recently completed a series of large oils of horses, and am now working on a series of Tibetan people with their horses. I try to be as timely as possible with projects, and to work with people to create the work they envision.
