THEME: Birds Artwork

DESCRIPTION: The topic for this art contest is BIRDS. Yes, those feathery friends that soar through the air and make us all wish we could fly. Submit your own artwork, painting or drawing that matches the theme of Birds. Now lay your creative egg and spread your wings and let's see what you can create!

This is an Illustration of the Native american story "Raven Stole the Light". After Raven created the earth he felt something was missing. He went in search of that missing ingredient for his new creation and saw a small child playing with a leather satchel. When the child looked in their was a bright gleaming light and Raven felt this was what was missing. He stole the leather bag and sprinkled the light behind him as he flew, creating the stars, moon, and sun
