I was rated a five last night with an interesting obnoxiuos comment to go with it.... about how my art was crap and cheesy. The S.O.B. had alot of nerve. The number didn't bother me as much as what was said. The personal attack of verbal abuse was totally uncalled for. I never even saw the guy's work before and I must say it wasn't nothing special. Too many people playing games and not considering the value of appreciation. Needless to say I deleted the pic and will not be returning it anytime soon. Shame we have to tolerate this abuse when there is so many of us just wanting to enjoy the art.

Sean that guy is average..he can draw..like many do..that was inconsiderate of him..Stu gave you a 3..Frank a 5..your painting is a target Sean..Frank's been given a 5...I looked at his work..Sean he needs to draw from life his figures are stiff also noticed the way he draws hands and feet..to small for the proportions of the body mass..man this guy needs schooling..any artist who's drawn from life and knows the body can tell you this..don't worry Sean he's a fly-by night. No I didn't waste my time to acknowledge him some-one else rated him 5.

Yeah I know Juan.I 'm not Frazetta but I can draw anatomy very well.I noticed how stiff his work was but I did not say anything about that,or that his anatomy was way off...thats what ya get for being nice to people...I guess some take me as a threat to them,but it could not be farther from the truth.I just dont get it...Well I better stop cause I'm starting to get an attitude.But if it continues I will call him out to a duel right here on these boards,and...he will lose...

Well Andree I have never complained about ratings,ever.I give people tens for kind of a "thumbs up" or "Way to go" type of thing ya know.Or" hey thats pretty cool".Everyone gets tens from me because the ratings dont mean anything really.The only reason I spoke up is because this guy is a punk in my opinion...And I won't put up with that.His artwork is high school at best and I'm going to call him out(and I dont care how old he is).....If he's got the balls that is....(Oh,and Andree,that 3/5 is the old rating scale look at the date)

Just oneOthose days when logic, manners and positive encouragement seem to fall by the wayside... It would have been interesting with 40 words or more, why that luscious image deserved a 5 in that artists eyes... dealing with colour in the degree you used it and the accomplished outcome may have intimidated him?

Well Andree,I dont go through and give EVERYONE a ten.Only the works that move me or caught my eye.I only go to the pieces I think deserve it.And as far as me thinking your work is not up to my standards...you could not be more wrong.The reason I dont mess with you Andree, is because you used to like to argue and I did not want to be a part of that.I think you have some very imaginative pieces of work...Which I do like....

Well,I thought he was pretty good and still do.Thats why I commented on his piece.Are you asking me if I think I'm better...Well,yeah I am actually.I only made a good comment to him because I thought he deserved it.I thought it deserved a ten for his effort.Dont get me wrong he is pretty good...but not that good.I just wondered why,when I gave someone a good rating that they decide to come and give me a five.I guess he feels I'm a threat to him.I'm not trashing him Andree.I genuinely commented on his art because I thought it was cool.Needs some refinements,but still cool.This was a blatant "fook you" to me.So now,I have put up the challenge...come on with it....
