Murals ala carte

heres some of the progress on that mural project im working on. i got a late start. so my friend ahamad has done the majority of the work. ive layed out 3 so far, jam master jay, john coltrane , and george clinton. my time is limited because i have a full time job so i work on it for a couple of hour .

this is my friend ahmad jacobs. ive know him since jr high and we where in the same commerical arts class in high school and we went to the art institute of pittsburgh . he made a goal for his self he wants to do 200 painting before the year is up , and the way he paints he might do it!

in are favorite art teacher studio. mr robert garcia. i go to him for advice we went to him for some advice on future mural projects as far as pricing them.

You guys are surely doing a fantastic job, and the owner of the place must be very happy so far - it's fun doing projects like that with an artist friend isn't it? It will be so great to see this completed! George Clinton is the coolest...love that man.

Now get back to work!! LOL

Wade, that's great work! Gotta tell ya a lil' story about George Clinton. I met him back in 1995 at my college when I helped to put his concert together. His whole band drove up in taxis. He, in a limo, lol. I greeted him and walked him in the arena. We talked some and than over the speakers a Rick James song "superfreak" began playing. He turns to me and chuckles and says, "There's ol' Rick! That's a crazy guy". It was kinda surreal. Great show as well.
