Dawn, both upgrades are called CS Pshop went from 7.0 to CS (not 8) and illustrator from 10.0 to CS(not 11). I use ai v9.0 and psp v6.0, love them, Below is a link to see the new features, even download a trial version, so you can see If you really want/need an upgraded:)missy

Dawn..i have both the newest versions of Corel and Photoshop but havent loaded them yet... thats how discombobulated life is around here for me.. : )

I hate to learn all the programs over again.. :sighs:

i got photoshop 7 and CS...CS is technically "version 8" or whatever. as far as differences between 7 and 8...eeee...there are a few. some real helpful tools like the shadow/light photo adjustment filters and stuff. its not all THAT more fancy than 7 in my opinion and i have to say its a bit buggy too...still all in all a good program. if you can afford the upgrade i say go ahead otherwise PS 7 will likely suit you just as well.

thanks a heap. I knew Hinsel had to know it. haha I can't believe my 7.0 has a glitch! ack! I am back to basic elements now until I get the new one. (did I already write that?)

have you tried to RE-install 7 ??

just uninstall ps7 and then re-install it. sometimes it works.

Heh. I wish i had money to upgrade.

Right now i switch around between the three progs i have to get the tools i need. (Photoshop 5.5, ImageReady 2.0, and Elements 2.0)
