The calendars arrived and I reboxed those that needed to be mailed and sent them out express with apologies to the post office for being so late. The Christmas cards also arrived by Fed Ex but I did not accept them and had them returned to sender. Please issue me a refund as per your thread on this post.

Just to add a mixed review:

I was disappointed that you were shipping via Media Mail so close to the holidays, especially for something ordered October 28th. I was somewhat surprised to discover there had been a delay by the printer which (and this was the important part) you had not then informed to your customers. That's easy enough with a mail-merge/email file!

I received my calendars today, and I was surprised they didn't have stands but I find I don't mind; I hope my recipients won't either! I'm delighted with the print quality.

And lastly: You were extremely kind and pleasant on the phone when I called you last week. Thank you.

Dear artwanted.

The calenders arrived with a postal cost of $5.60.......

thinking i must be writing in invisible text as you seem to have ignored my post. Seriously..... the package was opened by the postal service and they deemed the contents did NOT qualify for the media postal rate as calenders are not categorized as fitting the criteria.

*sigh*....... i assume hundreds of your calenders went out under this category of postage? I am not saying the FAULT is yours......just something i was not expecting..... considering this is what.... the THIRD year of calendars????????

Dear artwanted, Thank you for the calendar! It at last arrived!!!! I have not recieved the artwanted book that I ordered on 10-10 though. I REALLY would like that book! I ordered it because the artist's on artwanted have been so inspiring to me. I would like to have a book that I can show to my Mentor and friends to share their works. Although, I understand the problems you are having are annoying and I don't blame you. I am VERY Thankful for your being willing to show art! PLEASE send me that book though! Angela Taylor

Well... just thought I would post and state I have never had a problem with the site, or the service on it.

Sorry others have had but I don't think you can find any business or service anywhere, where there won't be a few problems.

Anyway, just my .02 cents.

I pre-orered a sci/fi fantasy calendar the day you could order them and I was sent the wrong calendar. I wanted to give it as a gift and it arrived way too late for me to do anything about it. I still haven't straightened it out with two emails to customer service...

Thomas Broadfoot 27 Dec 2006

Poor Wendy I must have missed AW's response to you... so bump it goes.

The image is for everyone in this thread... titled going around in circles......

Donald Taylor 27 Dec 2006

I just received my second calendar on December 26th. This one was not pre-ordered.

The entire process took about 7 business days between (Dec. 15 and Dec 26). I am of course excluding the weekends and Christmas eve/day; the process was (12) days if you include the weekends and holidays.

Guess I am lucky, or something. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas anyway!

Thomas Broadfoot 27 Dec 2006

Donald,

I think it is varied across the board ... I got my calendar a week or so ago. I think you may be the beneficiary of all those that we have voiced their problems to AW.

Hope the logistical log jam gets corrected so future projects will go smoother or some that had the problems won't get involved. That would be a shame since some of them are fantastic artists and members of the AW community.

Angela Taylor 28 Dec 2006

Artwanted, I got my artwanted book yesterday! THANK YOU SOO MUCH! It's beautiful! It's really great that you help artist's to show their work this way! :) Thanks again and HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Angela Taylor

Uh Oh! I mailed one "media mail" - hope the postals don't confiscate it!

Pamela Tweton 30 Dec 2006

I am also having a problem with my calendar order. I paid for 10 calendars and to date, have not received them.

Please track my shipment as it has not landed in Fairbanks.

Thanks, Pam

Thank you. I found the email and the tracking number. And yeah!, the PO attempted delivery on the 30th. So I will pick them up on Wednesday.

Thank you again! And Blessed New Year to you all.
