Hi Juan - thanks for your comment, and stopping by my tutorial. I just wanted to make one correction - for sake of anyone else reading all of this... this particular piece "Cat's Eye II" doesn't use colored pencils at all... strictly scratchboard and paint.

I only "sampled" colored pencils in my squirrel ATC ("Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed") to see if it would work ok for things like whiskers... but decided in the end it was easier to stick to paint! :)

Wow Christina ...

Amazing tutorial ... perfectly described and explained in the various steps.

The eye has it .. perfect reflections and colouration.

Now I need to go comment on a few of you more recent ones.
