There are moments in our lives when the creation of art is really not the priority. If you don't feel inspiration, just don't do it. Relax, enjoy your life and when the inspiration strikes... paint like crazy! I think both of your beautiful children will have your creative spirit and explore it in their own unique ways.
Its quite obvious to me that your creative energy has occurred in many other venues besides art.
