Reached But only grasped thin air
Cried But my tears where not wiped away
Called But my voice fell on deaf ears
Fell But no arms lifted me off the ground
Prayed But my prayers went unanswered
Ran But I found no direction
Waited But no one came
Paced But only heard the echoes of my footsteps
Leapt But no one caught me
