I love the many varities and was you can digitally paint! So many styles available, and more art software keeps coming out and upgrading to better quality all the time. I think that digital painting is going to become a huge filed over the next few years as software and awareness of this art form grows.
I used to be a traditional artist, but upon discovering the practicallity and ease of which you could create, edit and alter through digital art? I became a convert.
I still do traditional from time to time, but I find that working digitally has a much better reward, I feel I can create things in a digital format that I could never do with pencils and paint.
To be honest, I think digital is the future, but we should never forget the roots...

Great to hear from you Patty! I got a Wacom after a car accident & I was stuck recoverying on and off a few hears. It has saved me from losing my mind from boredom. It got me focused on my art, and my skills have improved. My favorite software so far still remains Corel's Painter series.
