I was born in 1966 in Kalymnos, a small island in the Dodecanese of Greece, where i finished my school.I am a graduate of Technological Institute of Athens in the Structural Works Department and of the art Association "Akto", in the decoration department. I started painting during my studies, under the guidance of the painter- hagiographer Mr G.Malamas who was a student of the great Greek painter J.Moralis. I mounted 7 individual exhibitions and 16 participations to team exhibitions. In the May 2000 i received the first prize in a Pandodecanisian contest and in the April 2010 a praise in a contest from all over the Greece. I have worked in schools with handicapped kids, and occasionally as a partner in special art classes. Some of my works are in private collections in Gemany, Finland and Australia. I am a member of the world federation of UNESCO and from 2005 until now, i have been painting and giving art lessons to kids and adults to my own studio in Kalymnos.
