Size 51" X 40", I find inspiration in character rich images like old buildings that are either falling apart or dilapidated in some way. The rhythm of the design is created by the contrast of Red and Blue. A relatively curve from the right side dominated by the black projection creates interest in composition. A lot of knife is used to draw texture of walls and wood works. The small black dots reminds of the age of structure. Notice behind the toll of debris that had piled up on due course of time. Look at the darkest dark in this painting. They are combination of Black, Burnt Umber and Crimson Lake.
