This miner's cave has always peaked my curiosity....How long has it been here? What were they after? How deep does it go?? No one there has the answer!! I've hiked this trail with our precious daughter only twice and didn't have a flashlight either time. She took a couple of photos of me just back in the entrance, but I've not seen them. She wouldn't go in for me to do likewise.....spiders!!! This time I carried a flashlight and my husband and I decided to explore this hole in the rock, next to the stream, on our way back. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but we didn't get the chance. Maybe next time..... :-)) Ok, enough stalling...
