Winter in the North Alps

A view of the mountains from the Happo Ike vicinity, January, 2007. The original photograph is a 6x7 Fujichrome Velvia 50 transparency. The scanned image was unadjusted for colour. The file was shrunk using Easy Thumbnails, the border added with GIMP, and the text added later with Photo Impressions.

Very nice view, great details too! :)

Artist Reply: That's one reason why I like to shoot in 6x7 or 4x5: to keep the details. Thanks for looking and commenting, Alessandra.
