I was the commissoner for this piece. Marshal had painted my mum's previous house in the past. The previous painting was of a summer scene, so for the new house I had him paint a winter scene. I gave Marshal some basic photo's of the house and the winter idea and that was all. Weeks later I received this. Its perfect! My mother was ecstatic as were friends who were with us on Christmas day. I could not have asked for a better gift. It was perfect!
