To imagine that all little creatures that live there see this beauty around them always!

Artist Reply: What an absolutely creatively imaginative and beautiful thought, Anneke. I appreciate so much how you so often find good, goodness, everywhere and where most of us never think of or notice. One view of an artist's purpose, you know, is to call to our attentions such overlooked beauty in the commonplace or particular aspects of it or to show us new points of view, angles, and perspectives. In this case I imaginatively called attention to the place, the setting, and you "peopled it" with little creatures, not naming them but leaving the rest to following your hint and pointing the direction to think. You brought far more life to my painting, I think, than even if little "creatures" had been drawn in, which actually would be beyond both my knowledge and ability. But I know that your painting style and skills would handle that task wonderfully. You know, maybe we should team up and actually do some works together like this. Seriously, think about it. But I would get 2/3rds of the money for the suggestion! Peace, etc., Bruce
