Artist Reply: Ruth, This art piece is nothing more than how a person wants to imagine it to be. I believe Contemporary art can be used as a play ground for the imagination. People will ask me, well what is it and I usually reply by saying, well it is whatever you want it to be. There is no restrictions or laws to make a person to see something as the artist see's his or her work. If that is the case then it might be like a doctrine of rules as if being Protestant.

Artist Reply: Dave, if you like it then I feel that maybe something good happened on this piece of paper. This morning I had a great time going through the many art pieces you have done within the past and also the most recently. Your art is like a little kid going to a carnival for the first time...boy what a ride through Alice's wonderland. If I was still young I would most certainly take some good mescaline and some very fine black Lebanese Hash and then enter your theater of the most imaginative art pieces I have encounter on earth. I'm almost 60 now and because of this I am too chicken to take another trip. So I'll go on what I have...a cigarette and a cup of strong coffee.

Artist Reply: Sharon, better late than never. I'm so very sorry that I hadn't notice your comment earlier. Thank you so very much for your comment on this piece. This one was done not so long ago and I feel good that someone has taken notice. I just used India ink and 2 different types of pen nibs on this. The paper is satin finished. It makes the nib skate across the paper without any bleeding at all. I thank God for your wonderful encouragement and your inner beauty that always is expressed within your paintings.
