This art work is a protest against how little girls are being brainwashed through the media and through the toys that they promote. Many of the dolls that little girls play with promote the idea that sexuality and physical attractiveness are the sole important traits that should be present in a woman. Pardon me for speaking in this blunt language, but many of these toys do nothing else except to condition innocent little girls to grow up into brainless women whose sole concern is what blouse to wear or what color of lipstick to put on. Of course I am not referring to the rag dolls of yesteryear nor am I talking about the baby dolls that help nurture in little girls a mother's instinct. I am referring to those dolls such as Barbie and others of a similar type that teach concepts in female identity that are totally unhealthy for the spiritual and emotional development of little girls.
