Ready to Go

This painting was produced for the LSA 'Art of Sport' exhibition due to be held at the New Walk Museum in Leicester during June. The football shirt, belonging to my son, is hung, washed and ready to go to an eagerly awaited match. The wall has been painted using my usual textural and distressed style using washes, spashes, sprayed and flicked paint along with some impasto.
