This is a fantasy mermaid painting and she is #5 in my Fae faces series. I started this fun series last year to feature just the faces of fairies, mermaids, and other mystical creatures. I almost discontinued it since another artist recently started a similar series, but decided not to as I looove this series. Anyway this particular piece is a teal colored mermaid with the silhouette of little fish in the background. She is really special because she's green! My first piece of green art created with acrylics on a re-purposed canvas covered CD. The CD is mounted on a 6" x 6" white matboard and will fit a frame of the same size.
