Stonewall 2b

This pencil drawing is yet another from the Mathew Brady collection. In the original photo brady has Jackson is a rather somber look. I wanted to bring a more focused and determined look to Stonewll. This Drawing was done solely with a 2b pencil and a rub stick. I like the contrast between the dark of the 2b lines against the softness of the 2b on the rub stick. hope you like it

Artist Reply: Thanks tried something diferent with this one I used some of the graffite from sharpening my pencil on a smug stub to get the softness in the face, glad you liked it. you are a pencil master and I appreciate the feed back
