Found Snow....

After spending some quality time at Ranger Falls (previous picture) we hiked on up the trail to it's end at Green Lake. This 1.8 mile trail is set in ancient rainforest with giant trees and lots of moss. As we climbed in elevation, the snow started to appear and there was lots at the lake. The ice had started it's spring thaw revealing the green of the water below. One of my daughters favorite thing to do is break the ice with her hiking pole....her hidden distructive nature... :) (It used to be a quick, relatively easy hike, but now you have to hike/bike 3 miles just to get to the trailhead....takes a little longer.) Thanks for stopping by!!!

And what a super shot love when snow is reflective of water I bet the hike and bike is worth it when you can get close to nature such as this out of the hustle and bustle of the city
