Mermaid

Title: Mermaid Size: 16 X 20 Medium: Acrylic Surface painted on: Canvas Date Painted: January 2009 She dropped a seashell her father had given her when she was little. She swam so deep to try and find it, but she could see nothing around her. Everything was darkness until she couldn't tell which way was up or down. A bubble touched her skin and burst. Soon she noticed other bubbles in the darkness and followed them up into brighter waters. Her seashell was lost forever. You nailed the moon light in this painting great job...

Artist Reply: Thanks so much for your kind words. It was a lot of fun to try and get the paint to look like moonlight.
