Justin and Libby

A colored pencil/mixed media illustration of my son Justin with Libby (the "Libster"), done from one of my favorite photos of him as a child. Libby was an unwanted kitty who stole our hearts and stuck around for 17 years!

You nailed the expressions down pat - just how they would have been in real life the little boy, loving and hold his cat as best he could and the cat looking like ' why is it always me?...lol Super work~!

i agree with ana, my mom used to have a cat named moaw, he died last year and he was about the same age. he was actually a few months older then me.
