Artist Reply: Thanks Ilsa, Your words go straight to my heart. This painting & it's style originated out of my experiences living in Panama. Even though I sometimes paint sur-realistic & realistic - I love Van Gogh & Gauguin. So with those elements & than the beautiful Panama landscape, culture & people. This is what I was able to create & discover in myself.
