I wanted to show the girls as rough, dirty, old and young, I know very little of these women or of the area they come from, most of what I referenced, was in language's I do not understand, but even still I felt how hard life must be for them and upon them physically, so off I went with my version of Armando's wonderful Idea and Original work.
WOW I can't believe the whole day is gone, I did get more pens and continued working on it to this point.
I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone, it's just... well as you can see above, I was kinda busy, I think I am a bit of a details freak, LOL.
OK going to work on color version now.

I already know my father's painting. Your version is better for sure. (Just renouncing to the legacy... LOL:-)Minerva Bloom 30 Jul 2008
Pam, I just wanted to say that you brought such intensity and depth of emotion to this piece, with this gritty style. Well done, well done Pam!margaret mckeehan 29 Jul 2008

WOW... another wonderful piece of art inspired by Armando Salas' Peixeiras! You succeeded in showing the rough life these people have, but also their beauty! Bravo Pam!! --Love and Light~OLGA
