Even at only about 4500'-5500’ elevation in early spring it often drops below freezing in the mountains. This photo was shot a couple of months ago, the wind was blowing , snow was spitting between full moon appearances,. I and a friend were attempting to get a night shot of bears, or our version of big foot (!) with a infrared IF camera (night vision) that was positioned over a bait. Our flashlights and other lighting was darkroom red for other reasons. Anyway she took a photo of me with my digital as I stood by the 4x4 saying that I looked scarier than Bigfoot in the red light! So I touched it up in ADOBE elements with the poster edges and a couple of other filters to give it a scary look. Hey I do kinda’ look like big foot , or one of those were people just before they start changing! We stayed in the back of the 4x4 that night instead of the tent with bogie, both of us becoming spooked! Hey it was bear country…and that tent looked pretty flimsy.
