I seem to remember on completing this little bird it set me off to paint more, and more birds. Such wonderful oil painting practice.

Oh I am so glad you painted this little bird then judging by the masterful and skillful results in all these very splendid works John.. Lovely symmetical capture. Love the very oily looking texture almost like silk in the background. Mary
