This painting is based on an observation study of a tabernacle I produced in Italy some years ago. This is a very large painting- the largest I have produced for years (4ft x 6ft). It was produced to celebrate moving into a new studio- I love to work big and no longer have to worry about the size of the work- fantastic! This painting incorporates the use of sand and wax.
