My First Spring Doe

This was the first doe in this spring who gave me the "close stare" - she stayed and stared at me and my camera until I got a decent picture. And then she ran around with River for a while. Perhaps she got "words" from her "cousins" in the mountains near Montreal that River could be a good playmate. :) She lives all the way near Algonquin Park, more than five hours drive from the Laurentian mountains.
