This looks really awesome. Is there snow in this scene or is it just a trick with the light and the rocks?

This could be the moon Greg! unbelievable, and yet, because it's you,, it's absolutely BELIEVABLE..!! you live in the most wonderful place! and you have the camera shills, the gift, to get it to all of us.. this took my breath away.. i am pulled to the contrasts,, the geometrics of it all. , sharp vs. soft, ... weighted vs. ethereal, it's a photo I could never be bored to look at and would see something new each time i studied it.. x

Artist Reply: I think I just might make a large print of this - I remember thinking out there, it was like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I have a friend who shoots 20X8 film - made specially with a special camera. His was commissiobed to take a photo in Rocky Mountain National park for the emperor of Japan by the Governor of Colorad (name dropper!) I mention this because it is so unlikely to happen. Anyway, when the Emperor saw his image, he said - mopst photographers see only a few pieces to the puzzle but your photograp[hs have thousands and they all cometogether. I want to see like this man. His name is Willaim Corey. Imet him because he has his work done by Photocraft imaging in Boulder, Colorado. I am their health insurance agent. He wanted health insurance and after I got to know him, he told me that the Emperor asked what he could give him in return. His request was to shoot the Imperial Gardens unsupervised. He is the only western photograper to have this permision. Look him up. His prints are wall sized. There is no grain and his compositions are wonderful. There are all these paths that come together. I don't know x why.
