Man, what a great watercolor. Could you tell me/us more about the process you used to get to this unique design/ texture?

Most of my paintings are done on a textured base using plastic food wrap, grease proof paper,thinned oils paints etc but this time time I used bubble wrap on a limit palette on cobalt blue , raw sienna and brown madder. Once the image is drawn the dots are removed for the high lights and the spaces beween the dots painted for the dark tone.
