Though I would love to take credit for it, the inspiration for this piece actually came from the suggestion of one of my most avid corgi art collectors. In a spirit of unity, three corgis, a sheep and two cats take a moment on a magical snowy eve to gaze up at a star and remember.... One of the holiday highlights for me is to go out and see all my critters down at the stable on Christmas morning. Yes, we do have stockings for them and they have come to know just what that means but I truly believe they know that there is a spirit in the air--that it isn't just another ordinary winter morning. Maybe they can't worship that tiny babe born in a manger so long ago but they certainly can recognize the joy that He brings to the hearts of those of us who do.
