MONICA & JOSE wedding watercolor portrait

My friends are from one of the cities I grew up in. They were married in one of the most beautiful and simple Apostolic ceremonies I have ever had the priveledge to attend. This token of my love for them was first gathered, organized, sketched and hand painted. The steps of completion were clear, and I ended the portrait by adding collected paper money from around the world, ancient well coins from Jerusalem, A captains gold anchor navy button, an embroidered flag from one of my mountain sweaters, (nice new hole) a single white seashell, a beautiful oyster pearl. All with significance, all with basic care. They enjoyed it*
