Serenity Far East Tennessee

This is one of my favorite birds, and is one of a nesting pair on river Watauga (Cherokee meaning beautiful river) located in the pointy tip of East Tennessee in the Cherokee National forest in Far East Tennessee is the newest state ratified by me and the dirty dozen (a now forming environmental group, contact the me for details if you live east of Knoxville), of if you live in NYC etc and care about the environment contact me to become a charter member.

Artist Reply: Thanks Tabitha, this bird lives near where I do. When I first saw him (or her) when walking Boigie it would flap away long before I got within telephoto range. Now it lets us approach to about 75-100 yards. Thanks for your kind words.

Artist Reply: Thanks I almost deleted this picture because at first I didn't like it ...(oops!). No worry I am a pack rat and have at last count over 10,000 pics on gig enabled cards and my hard drive(s). Trouble is 9900 of them are of questionable quality!
