Artist Reply: I don't usually do happy around Halloween ! Some time I slip up though! You saying that reminds me that we as artists have a responsibility to our fellows do a cheery piece every now and again. Some artist of courst only do dark, like the great Poe, and I get a serious foreboding when I read Poe more so than king etc because Poe was really a tortured soul, even if a wonderfully tortured soul. I would surly die if all my work was as dark as his I think! Owed to Poe last paragraph in the poem “ “Alone”……… "From the lightning in the sky As it passed me flying by, From the thunder and the storm, And the cloud that took the form (When the rest of Heaven was blue) Of a demon in my view.
