Soo many racoons are murdered every day because of their fur. Sometimes they are not dead when their fur is taken from them..

Sad the narrative and true. But on the happier note your painting is stunning and such detail I have never seen. I am stunned by this work and you are right the eyes make me a bit misty myself, old codger that I am. Brilliant work and good on you for making people aware of the senseless slaughter of such beautiful animals. Love work, Claudia. Michael
