I sure see why you miss it here,I would as well,it is breathtaking!

Artist Reply: But there is a dearth of trees. The British cut them all down without replanting when wood was like oil to a nation. Now the land is soaked in brine and trees are hard to grow. But I do love it there. Thanks for your sympathetic interest Ruth.

Artist Reply: Thank you Carliss, It is a plane and it is full of American soldiers returning from Iraq. They stop in Shannon to buy whiskey.
