British Isles Pub, Amsterdam

Arriving at Amsterdam Centraal Station, we asked for directions to our hotel. Of course, we headed out the wrong door and started down the wrong street. Pulling out our map, we re-oriented ourselves, walking up Damrak back to Prins Hendrikkade and over to Martelaarsgracht where the Season Star is located. Our first room was fine, but the view was of the roof and HVAC/heating equipment. The stairs leading to the room were steep and shallow, so I was challenged by the ascent. We asked for another room, which they gladly agreed to the next morning. From that room we had a great view. Directly across from us was what we believe to be the smallest pub we have ever seen! It is called the British Isles Pub, and it is situated between the Hotel Jimmy and The Flying Dutchman Pub. Image captured 09/27/2007.
