This canvas mural depicts a Chinese courtyard scene, featuring a koi pond, pagoda, and garden. Two wading cranes add a whimsical element. The mural also features the typical red Chinese doors in a trompe l'oeil style. Notice the gilded symbols on the door panels. The effective use of trompe l'oeil perspective dramatically opens up this tiny dining space.
