Echo and Narcissus

Narcissus a beautiful youth, was loved by the nymph Echo, who failing to attract him, died of grief leaving just the echo of her voice. He, in his turn, fell in love with his own reflecion and pined away until changed by the gods into the flower that bears his name. Narcissus (daffodil). Acrylic on premium primed canvas. Size: 101.5cm x 73.5cm framed (wooden).
