Very nice. For someone who just started you have a very good eye. I like the selective coloring I've always felt that it adds alot to the photo but in this case you might want to just see if it would look better as a B&W photo if you have the software. Also, I'm assuming that you used the camaras setting to get the SC effect, you might want to see if you can adjust the color it picks up because you do have some color showing up where it is distracting, such as above the lights. Good job overall and keep up the good work.
The blurred foreground distracts from the subject too much, less of the foreground and more of the subject matter. Colored accents are nice, but they can become a distraction to the focus of the image.
