Bee & Dahlia~1

There were huge big black bumble bees zooming around everywhere in the gardens at the mission in Carmel. Tried to get a few shots without getting stung :-)

Oh.... they do sting, I've never seen a bumble bee, pretty pink dahlia, the lighting is beautiful too!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks Kathie :-) Well, I'm assuming they sting and I sure didn't want to find out first hand - LOL! We have big bumble bees like this where I live, but a different species I think as the ones here are completely black.
